About My Blog
My name is jay Vean and I am an Instructional Technology Coach for Aurora Public Schools in Aurora, Colorado. Our district has about 37,000 students in it. The charge for our department is to help raise achievement by integrating technology into the classrooms of APS. I chose to write this blog to help inspire forward thinking when it comes to education today. Some of it has to do with technology, but all of it has to do with effective teaching practices and powerful teaching understandings. Without those two factors, the technology is pretty much a mute point. Read my entries for some details about that issue.
